Fantastic Mr. Fox

I read "Fantastic Mr. Fox", by Roald Dahl. I've already read it in Spanish, and I like it very much. It is about a fox (Mr. Fox), his four little foxes and his wife (Mrs. Fox). Boggis, Bunce and Bean work in three different farms, near Mr. Fox's house; so every night he goes to get some food, each night from one farm. But one day, the three farmers try to get the robber. That night they go to the fox's hole and they wait till the fox comes out. They wait too much, and they only get his tail. So they said that wasn't a very good idea, and they start to dig. The foxes could hear them, so they start to dig, too. Boggis, Bunce and Bean dig till they were so tired they couldn't dig more. Because Bean was the one who had the ideas, he told the others to dig with machines. The foxes also start to dig, but the machines were too fast. They lived  in a hill, but after all the digging there was no hill left; instead there was a giant hole in the ground! The farmers start to wait there. Because the foxes didn't come out, they have to spend the night there... if you want to know what happens, ¡you'll have to read the book!

There is also a movie, and this is the picture of the movie I found. ¡I think it is very funny!

Mrs Armitage and the big wave

Mrs Armitage and the big wave is written and illustrated by Quentin Blake, the illustrations are very, very, very cool.

It tells the story of Mrs Armitage and her dog, Breakspear. One day they go surfing. But while they wait until the big wave comes they need some things to be comfortable... so Mrs Armitage swam to the beach to get: a desert island, a cap, an umbrella, a box of tasty items, a boat hook... Finally it looks like a super boat!
The big wave came and they saw a little girl called Miranda that was in trouble. So Mrs Armitage hooked up Miranda with the boat hook. They arrived on the beach just in front of Miranda's parents!

What I like the most is the picture of all of the things that Mrs Armitage takes from the beach. I recommend it to you!

This is a video with a few of people surfing in Fiji, including Layne Beachley, a very famous Australian surfer.
